Samjong KPMG concluded the M&A project of Dong-A Construction

On Oct. 16th, Corporate Finance of Samjong KPMG has concluded the M&A project of Dona-A Construction Ltd. successfully.

Seoul Central District Court has concluded the M&A project of Dong-A Construction Ltd. through the sanction of the court and the approval of the board meeting. The project was a deal between the main bondholders of Dong-A Contruction Ltd. including KAMCO and the underwriter, consortium of Prime-Trident. Therefore, Dong-A Construction Ltd. is back on track from the workout nine years ago in 1998 and the adjudication of bankruptcy six years ago in 2001.

Sohn, Ho Seung of Corporate Finance at Samjong KPMG who led the advisory stated, " It has been a great challenge over two years of process, but it turned out to be the first case that the company came back in business through the M&A of bankruptcies and the revival procedure.

Dong-A Construction was one of the biggest deals in the field of M&A and Samjong KPMG confirms that they are leading the market of public M&A deal by the successful conclusion of Dong-A Construction Ltd.
